Yelow Branch Falls
South Carolina, USA
The hike to Yellow Branch Falls is about a 3-mile round trip that is listed as “moderately difficult”. Along the way you will pass through hardwood forest and cross several streams. There is an elevation gain of 492 feet. The trail ends at a beautiful 50-foot vertical waterfall that contains many individual cascades. Make sure you go after a rain, as it may just be a trickle of water over some ledges if it’s been dry. Dogs on a leash are welcome and I can vouch, they will enjoy it too.
