Harbor Seal on Ice
Alaska, USA
A Harbor Seal takes advantage of the ice from calving tidewater glacier to haul out and rest. There it is safe, but in the water there are a host of predators it must watch out for. These include the killer whale, its most common predator, as well as sharks and sea lions.
