Maroon Bells in Fall

Colorado, USA

The Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness near Aspen is an iconic, stunningly beautiful area. The peaks of the Maroon Bells rise to 14,163 ft and sit in a glacially-carved valley. Wonderful at any time of the year, to me the best viewing conditions are in the fall when the mountains are snowcapped and the leaves of the aspen trees have turned golden.
