Rainbow, Rafters and Flathead River
Montana, USA
As a storm clears, rafters are treated to a rainbow that formed over the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The river has its headwaters in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and flows for approximately 92 miles, forming the southwestern boundary of Glacier National Park. The color and clarity of the blue water testifies to its glacial-fed origins. Photo © copyright by Dr. Edward Mikol.
