Snowstorms are rare along the Carolinas' coasts, accumulation and persistence of this snow is even rarer still. Fleeting as it is, snow simplifies the landscape presenting an unusual view of typical beach scenes. Here, snow blankets the scene of a walkway for beach-access through dunes frequented during the warmer months.
